Indian Fever

A collection of postcards, pinbacks, pennants and whatever else seemed like a good idea

World Series tickets

Fortunately -- and also unfortunately, really -- obtaining a full ticket or ticket stub from every World Series the Tribe has played in isn't too tough of a task. There have been only five Fall Classics in which the Indians were represented, and two of those were in the 1990s.

The first gallery linked below feature tickets or ticket stubs from the 1920, '48, '54, '95 and '97 Series. The full ticket from Game 6 of the 1948 Series is one of my favorite items because not only is it scarce, it's also from the clinching game from the last time the Indians were world champions.

The second gallery is a link to Indians "phantom" World Series tickets -- ones that were printed as the season drew to a close because it appeared the Tribe might make the Series. Alas, in these years they didn't. But at least some great collectibles were the result.
